Loren received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Fordham University in 1999. She earned an interdisciplinary B.A. from Skidmore College in Women’s Studies, Psychology and Religion. For ten years prior to joining Pathways, Loren was the School Social Worker and Wellness Instructor at The Williams School, an independent day school for students in the 7th-12th grade in New London, CT. and has worked with all populations in private practice, as well. Loren is chairperson of the Community Coalition for Children, serving students and their parents in Southeastern CT addressing such issues as substance abuse prevention and fostering resiliency in young people.  In addition to traditional therapeutic methods, she is experienced in merging in such therapeutic interventions as biofeedback, neurofeedback, hypnotherapy, and animal assisted therapies.
