Dr. Watson is a clinical psychologist working with children, adolescents, and adults since 2006. She has worked across the country in adolescent and adult inpatient psychiatric hospitals, college counseling centers, high schools, and with families within adoption/foster care agencies. Dr. Watson is trauma-informed, providing affirming psychotherapy to individuals across social identity groups including LGBTQIA+ identities, BIPOC and multiracial identities, and neurodiverse experiences such as Autism Spectrum and ADHD. She enjoys working with parents and believes that contemporary parenting presents unique challenges. Dr. Watson is a former psychology professor at Penn State and has facilitated professional training for years to psychology graduate students, healthcare workers, and schools to enhance mental health awareness and to bolster diversity initiatives.
