Susan Scott, MS, LMFT graduated from CCSU. In addition to her clinical training, Susan is certified in Internal Family Systems, a comprehensive and integrative approach to psychotherapy developed by Richard C Schwartz. Over the past few years she has worked in Central Connecticut with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
Using a variety of treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions, Susan addresses issues related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional reactivity, couple/marital issues, divorce, blended families, trauma, grief and adjustment to life transitions.
Her strengths-based approach encourages individuals to gain greater self-awareness, enhance self-esteem, develop effective coping skills, and increase motivation in order to improve overall functioning and achieve desired goals.
